With less than a month to go, 4BR has been informed that the final preparations for the 11th Euro Brass Contest are being out in place.

This year the event will be streamed live over the internet at: www.omroplive.nl.

Meanwhile, with the much fancied Dutch football team playing their first Euro 2012 match on Saturday June 9th against Denmark, the full match will be screened during the evening break before the contest starts again with the concert programmes of the bands in the championship section Group A.

Highlights

The organisers have also informed 4BR that a full DVD with highlights from Euro Brass Drachten 2011 will be released during the weekend’s event, whilst a live twitter feed will enable listeners to catch up on some of the opinions aired during the contest at @EBD2012Live.
