Bollington helps charity funds

The Bollington Band organisation recently did their bit to help raise funds for a well deserving charitable cause.

The Bollington Band recently hosted a concert at their local Methodist Church in aid of East Cheshire Hospice.

Proceeds

Both the organisation’s vibrant senior and B Bands performed a varied programme of music to a sell out audience, with all proceeds from ticket sales, raffle and refreshments going to the Hospice, which undertakes amazing work for those in greatest need in the community.

Close to £2,500 was raised on the night, with members of the East Cheshire Hospice fundraising team on hand to accept the money that will certainly be pout to good use.

Band spokesperson Paul Berry told 4BR: "Every year the Band chooses a charity to support, and this year we couldn’t have hoped to have picked a more deserving organisation."
