Baker's test in Ireland

The Once and Future King will be used as one of the set works at the Irish Championships in Armagh later this year.

Andrew Baker's popular test piece, ‘The Once and Future King’, has been chosen as the set work for the 2nd Grade bands at the Championship of Ireland Contest.

The contest now in its 95th year and will be held in the Market Place Theatre, Armagh on Saturday 13th October.

Third time

This will be the third time that Andrew’s work has been chosen as a test piece for a major competition, adding to the 2008 Swiss Open and the Third Section Area Championships in 2009.
