Symphony Hall

The list of errata for the British Open Championship set work, 'Electra' by Martin Ellerby has been published.

Electra

N.B. The first bar is incomplete therefore the second (full) bar is the numbered bar ONE.

1. Bar 3: 2nd Trombone – slur should continue to final note as in other similar parts

2. Bar 6: Basses – first slur should be over all three notes not two

3. Bar 41: 1st Baritone – second note should be a quaver not a semiquaver as in other similar parts

4. Bar 52: Flugel and all Horns – There are three groups of 'rhythm' in this bar: There needs to be added slurs from the tenuto semiquavers into the next staccato semiquaver

5. Bar 61: Flugel and all Horns – remove accent from final note of bar as other players in this bar

6. Bar 129: Flugel and Baritones – add agogic accent (looks like a tenuto mark) to the top note of the runs. Refer to bar 125 as a similar example.

7. Bar 131: Flugel – add agogic accent to the top note of the run (like before)

8. Bar 183: 2nd Euphonium – add sharp signs to higher C and D

9. Bar 272: Solo Cornets 3&4 – add sharp sign to final A. N.B. — it returns to an A natural in the next bar

10. Bar 276: Flugel — add crescendo marking as Horns

11. Bar 314: Bass trombone, the notation should be as bar342 (low As not Cs

12. Bar 351: 2nd Trombone – second note should be E SHARP then the sharp sign on the minim E is redundant

13. Bar 400: Flugel – add mp and crescendo marking as Horns

14. Bar 423: Repiano — 1st note should be a C natural
