Bates to link with Peebles

Peebles Silver Band will be linking up with one of the brass band movement’s most exciting musical talents early next month, when National Finals composer Jonathan Bates will lead their Development Band in a workshop to prepare for the forthcoming Scottish Youth Championships.

Fantastic opportunity

The Black Dyke horn star will head the event on Sunday 4th November at Peebles Rugby Club.

Development Band conductor, Daniel Williamson told 4BR: "This is a fantastic opportunity for the players of Peebles Development Band, as well as me to work with a musician of the highest calibre from the top of the brass band world."
