No change in Yorkshire numbers

58 bands will compete at the Yorkshire Regional Championships this year — the same as 2012.

St Georges Hall

4BR has been informed that despite the last vestiges of Registry disputes and wrangling in other areas of the country, the Yorkshire Regional Championships have attracted the same number of entrants as 2012 – 58 bands in total.

Success

4BR understands that all bands have signed up to play under the new Brass Band Players Registry.

The event will be held at St George’s Hall in Bradford on the weekend of March 2nd/3rd, with Regional Secretary Peggy Tomlinson stating that she is optimistic that the event will once again be an overwhelming success.
