Butlins line ups announced

There is a huge field of bands looking to get their hands on the huge prize money fund at Butlins.

Butlins

Butlins have released the full line up of competing bands, judges and timings for the forthcoming Mineworkers Championship Festival in Skegness.

Huge entry

A huge entry of 90 senior competitors and no less than 15 youth and junior ensembles will head to the Skyline Resort complex for what promises to be an exciting start to the 2013 season.

Reigning champions Flowers will be faced with 13 rivals as they bid to secure the massive £10,000 first prize on offer for the top section winners, whilst there are returning champions in each of the other four senior sections in Becontree Brass, Mossley, Boarshurst Silver and Coppull & Standish.

Increase

There is also an encouraging increase in competitors in the Youth and Junior Ensemble sections where Youth Brass 2000 and sibling Youth Brass 1000 will look to defend their titles.
