Beaumont Park requires bandstand entries

The Friends of Beaumont Park Contest is looking for entries with the closing date looming...

The Friends of Beaumont Park Contest will take place in Huddersfield on Sunday 8th September, with a deadline for entries Wednesday 31st of July.

All bands

The contest is open to bands in all sections with a generous prize fund which will see the winning band carry away a top prize of £400, with podium awards of £200 and £100 respectively.

There are also generous cash prizes for Third, Fourth and Youth/Junior Section bands not in the main prizes.

March

Bands will play a short march where they will also be judged on deportment, then play a contest march in the Beaumont Park Bandstand which will be adjudicated by Stuart Fawcett.

The FOBP committee are hoping to make this a real fun day for bands and their families with various stalls, refreshments, children's play area, barbecue and real ale tent.
