Blendworth create Church link in France

The Blendworth Band from Hampshire will be making a musical connection with new friends above and beyond in France...

WELSH CONTEST

The Blendworth Band from Horndean in Hampshire will soon be making a trip to the Mayenne area of France to give a concert in support of the fund raising efforts for the restoration of the historic church at Megaudais, near Fougeres.

Tours

The Church of Megaudais is the only privately owned church in the region that is open to members of the public, and the band has been asked as they have previously visited the area on banding tours, including visits to the battlefields of the Somme.

Two of the band's members are also moving to the area to live, so it is also hoped that the trip will encourage further musical connections between the two communities4BR

Move

Two of the band's members are also moving to the area to live, so it is also hoped that the trip will encourage further musical connections between the two communities.
