The Band of the King's Division will be holding an open rehearsal on the 25th August in Blackpool.

One of the three professional brass bands within the British Army, the purpose of the event is to provide an insight into the daily lives of musicians within the Corps of Army Music and to answer any questions or enquires people may have who are interested in pursuing a musical career with them.

A spokesperson said: "The event will be held at Blackpool Citadel and will provide a great opportunity for musicians of all abilities and ages to come along and see what it's like to be an Army musician.

Please bring along your instrument and you can also play in the band to enjoy the experience first-hand."
