Tredegar add a little something extra to Bucket list

Welsh champion to work with renowned folk group 3 Bucket Jones on latest tour.

Three Bucket Jnes

Players from Welsh champions Tredegar will be teaming up once more with the award winning folk group 3 Bucket Jones for their latest tour.

An ensemble from the band recently performed on the group's critically acclaimed CD release, 'Take These Ghosts' and will now team up with founders Gitika Partington and Andy McCrorie-Shand as well as other artists for shows at Monmouth Savoy Theatre and St George's in Bristol.

Wonderful

Gitika (above) told 4BR: "It's wonderful to work with Tredegar once more. We just love their musical approach and appetite to enjoy crossing over to new musical genres.

The tour begins in Monmouth and ends in Brighton, so to get the ensemble to join us for two gigs when they are so busy has been great."

Great work

Tredegar MD Ian Porthouse added: "These musical partnerships are so interesting and rewarding for the band. It's great to work with musicians who understand how a brass ensemble — and even a full brass band can be used in such an inventive way."
