The Lewis Merthyr Band will perform at the iconic Principality Stadium in Cardiff later this month.

It will be the third time in the past year that they will have visited the home of Welsh rugby when they play at the opening ceremony of the 21st 'Golden Oldies Rugby Movement Festival' on Sunday the 21st August.

Musical welcome

The 'Golden Oldies' festivals feature teams of former star players from all the leading rugby playing nations, and it will be the first time that the event has been held in Wales. The band will play their part in welcoming the players, wives, partners, supporters and officials, playing two sets in the early evening.
