Neish leads the musical craic in Northern Ireland

Tuba star Les Neish led a great three days of music making in Enniskillen recently.

FTBBS Course
Bringing brass band people together in Northern Ireland

The popular Fermanagh/Tyrone Brass Band Summer School recently took place in Enniskillen in Northern Ireland led by tuba star Les Neish alongside tutors Owen Farr, Paul Duffy, Brian Heyes, James McLeod, Tom Challinor and Ben Thomas.

Next year as well

Now in its fifth year, it once again proved to be a great success with plans already underway to host next year's event.

Musical Director Les Neish laid out three days of hard work — including for his fellow tutors who gave the course participants and the local community a fantastic recital on the Friday evening accompanied by local pianist Judith Anderson, whilst the end of course Saturday evening concert featured the Summer School band with pieces they worked on.

Everyone comes together to enjoy music and the 'craic' throughout the three daysCourse spokesperson

Bringing together

A spokesperson told 4BR: "The course prides itself on bringing all communities together and we are lucky enough to have representatives from several bands from not only Fermanagh & Tyrone but the South of Ireland and England.

Everyone comes together to enjoy music and the 'craic' throughout the three days.
