Last call for Leicester Open entries

The closing date for entries to the popular Leicestershire Brass Band Association Open Contest has been announced — so be quick.

The LBBA needs bands to get their entry form in fast for their popular contest.

The organisers of the Leicestershire Brass Band Association annual Open Brass Band competition have informed 4BR that the closing date for entries for the popular event is fast approaching.

16th September

Bands need to get in touch before Friday 16th September if they are to book a place at the contest which will be held on Sunday 20th November at the brand new venue of Loughborough Endowed Schools.

The fantastic new facility offers a great opportunity for competitors and listeners to enjoy the contest day with two first class halls for bands to play in.

Own choice

The own choice test piece contest is open to all bands with the usual Championship to Fourth Section competitions, as well as an Unregistered Section for association member bands performing a small entertainment programme.
