BrassPass.tv at the European Championships

Preparations are well underway for Brasspass's comprehensive live coverage of this year's European Championships.

The on air coverage begins Friday afternoon with a thorough warm up to the event, fantastic guests and a unique look at Utrecht, the venue, the set test piece and the bands involved before the performances begin live!

Full coverage

With full coverage and analysis of the set test piece performances, interspersed with video pieces each band is preparing, to give a look at their preparations, and expert guest commentary, this will be a full on day, closing with a full round up of the day's action.

We shall also have our roving camera in the halls and bars of the hall, getting audience reaction and thoughts and looking at the more social side of this year's Euro Festival.

Breakfast Show

Saturday starts with the Breakfast Show bright and early from Brasspass's studio at the hall in Utrecht, followed by complete coverage of the Challenge Section, in what promises to be a thrilling contest, with great own choice pieces for these bands as well, will make for a fascinating morning, and we will be there to cover it all live!

Saturday afternoon is the blue riband event of the Euros — the championship section own choice performances. With a fantastic line up of pieces from Europe's top bands, this will be an afternoon to remember. You will not want to miss any of it!!

Gala Concert

And if that's not all, we bring you full live coverage of the Gala Concert followed by the nail biting results ceremony and prize giving. Interviews and features with the winners will be part of our coverage late into the night!!

Not forgetting, we are live streaming the Youth Contest on Sunday morning, where Europe's finest youngsters go head to head in a worthy final event of the weekend.

Chinnor Silver

June 17 • Our COMMUNITY BAND meet again on Monday (22nd) and we welcome players of all standards to join us for a relaxed,friendly rehearsal with Tea and cake and it’s all free.. Rehearsals are at 11am in our own bandroom playing with us does not effect your band.


Longridge Band

June 16 • Longridge Band invite applications for the positions of Flugel and Eb Bass.. We are a friendly and committed band that enjoys a great balance of concerts and contests throughout the year. A contribution to travel expenses are provided.


Harrogate Band

June 15 • After a fantastic result at the Wetherby Drovers Contest, The Harrogate Band are looking for a front row and a back row cornet player to complete the team. Rehearsals Weds 8pm with occasional Sundays at our own bandroom with great transport links
