The Lindley Band has welcomed a number of new signings to bolster the middle of the Yorkshire band.

Additions

Recent additions mean that solo horn Rachel Johnson is joined by a new team that includes Claire Westacott on flugel after an enjoyable spell with City of Bradford. Claire has already showcased her talents as a soloist on the band's new CD recording.

Meanwhile, following a short break the experienced Ann Jackson comes in on first horn after stints at Marsden and Shepherd Group Bands.

Last Night of the Proms

The final addition is Lucy Harper, a second year Music Technology student at the University of Huddersfield, where she plays with the University band.

Lucy depped at a rehearsal, liked us (the feeling was reciprocal!) and the rest was history, making her debut at Lindley's recent 'Last Night of the Proms' concert.
