Last minute pub prep available for Preston

Bands taking part in the Brass at the Guild contest in Preston later this month can book a rehearsal slot in at the nearby Stanley Arms pub.

The Stanley Arms pub will be welcoming bands throughout the day at Brass at the Guild

Bands looking for a rehearsal venue to put the finishing touches to their performances before they take to the stage for the Brass at the Guild Championships at Preston Guild Hall on 27th January are being offered the chance right next door to the venue.

Open to bands

The Stanley Arms pub has a large function room which will be available to bands throughout the day.

The landlord Paul Butcher told 4BR that they will be open all day and that competitors can book a slot for up to an hour if they wish — and for just £20.

He told 4BR: "This is mutually beneficial for us and the bands. We have a great atmosphere in the pub before and after the event. There are refreshments and hot food available and we can take table booking for families and groups.

We love the sounds of a brass band, so if anyone wants to take the opportunity to have final run through before they take to the stage we are open and ready to help."

The landlord Paul Butcher told 4BR that they will be open all day and that competitors can book a slot for up to an hour if they wish — and for just £204BR
