Funeral details announced for Paul Walton

The funeral of Paul Walton will take place on Thursday 23rd January — but a lasting initiative to help others will be his fantastic legacy.

  Paul Walton was a much respected performer with a number of leading bands

The funeral of the much respected, and missed, euphonium player Paul Walton will take place on Thursday 23rd January at St Bartholomews Church, Cliff Road, Wilmslow (SK9 4AA). The service will start at 12.30pm.

The Fairey Band, alongside some of Paul's friends will accompany the service. Anyone who wished to enquire about playing (space-permitting), should contact Lucy Cutt on lucy.cutt01@gmail.com

After the service everyone is welcome to join the family at the Bull's Head, Wilmslow Rd, Mottram St Andrew, Macclesfield, SK10 4QH.

Defibrillators

In memory of Paul, the family has requested that donations should be made to help them raise money to provide defibrillators in specially chosen locations to support the local community.

Each defibrillator will also have a plaque in memory of Paul and his committed work for the North West Ambulance Service.
