Torquay contenders announced

The list of competing bands at the West of England Regional Championships in Torquay have been announced.

  The Championships take place on the weekend of the 14th/15th March in Torquay

The West of England Regional Council has announced the list of competing bands that will aim to claim their places at the London and Cheltenham National Finals later this year.

The Regional Championships take place on the weekend of Saturday 14th & Sunday 15th March at the Riviera International Conference Centre in Torquay.

Qualification

12 bands will battle for the two qualification place on offer to get to the Royal Albert Hall, with defending champion Flowers looking to make it a hat-trick of wins. Two bands will also qualify from the Second and Fourth Sections with three each from the First and Third.

Saturday sees the action in the First, Second and Fourth Sections, with the Championship and Third Section taking place the following day.
