LBBA calls off Solo, Duet & Quartet Contest

The Leicestershire Brass Band Association calls off its Spring Festival event due to be held at the end of the month.

The event that was to be held on Sunday 29th March has been cancelled

The Leicestershire Brass Band Association (LBBA) has taken the decision to cancel its Spring Festival Solo, Duet & Quartet Competition.

The event was due to be held on Sunday 29th March.

Chairman, Steve Plant told 4BR: "After careful consideration, due to the concerns over the escalating Coronavirus pandemic, the Executive Committee of the LBBA have unanimously taken the decision to postpone the competition for the time being.

We appreciate that our entrants have been busy preparing solos, duets and quartets but hopefully this does not go in vein as it is our intention to re-schedule the Festival at a future date."
