Will is a member of the National Youth Brass Band of Great Britain and Halle Youth Orchestra. The cornet player commented; "I'm delighted to join the front row at Skelmanthorpe and play for such a fantastic band."

Meanwhile, Karen and Paul join having enjoyed plenty of top level banding experience in the Midland and Yorkshire, most recently with the Hatfield & Askern Colliery Band.

They added: "Banding is something we both enjoy and love. We were delighted to accept the chance offered by MD Martin Heartfield and be part of helping the band to continue the fantastic progress they've made in recent years."
