Players from the Eagley and Wingates Bands will be taking to a slightly different stage this month as they look forward to performing as part of a 'Brassed Off' production at Bolton's Octagon Theatre.

It will run from the 5th to the 28th September, and sees the players take on their roles for a second time — ten years after their acting debuts.

Pro cast

The latest professional production is a three month long joint co-production between theatres in Keswick, Scarborough and Bolton. The professional cast will remain the same for near 100 performances, with bands form each locality providing the essential musical content.

Each night a small ensemble of around eight players will perform on stage as the members of Grimley Band.
