BrookWright Music: City of David (Philip Rayment)

Christmas is on the horizon — so why not fill your stockings early with new festive music.

BrookWright
The latest release is certainly aimed at the Christmas audiences...

With Christmas looming on the horizon and the opportunity it offers for bands to showcase new repertoire, the latest release from BrookWright Music is a festive work featuring a trio of carols or songs associated with the place of Christ's birth: 'Once In Royal David's City', 'O Little Town of Bethlehem' (Forest Green) and 'How Far Is It To Bethlehem?'

City of David

It has been inspired by the 'City of David' — the name given to the town of Bethlehem and first mentioned in the Gospel of Luke: ''For unto you is born this day in the City of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.' (Luke 2:11)
