New Year resolutions catered for by Doodles

If you want to get your mouthpiece in tip top shape for 2025 then make sure you get in touch with Dave Houghton at Doodles.

Doodles
Dave Houghton has enjoyed meeting the mouthpiece needs of customers in the past year.

Dave Houghton of Doodles Mouthpiece Replating has thanked players from across the banding globe for using his bespoke services this year — but also hopes to meet up with more in 2025.

New Year resolutions

He told 4BR: "It's been great to either meet, speak or email players from all corners of the banding world to help with their enquiries, questions and preferences for their mouthpiece overhauls and replating — from sopranos to tubas.

My advice to anyone thinking of getting it done as a New Year resolution is simple.

If you think it's the right time for you then do it. Look at your mouthpiece carefully and see if it is showing signs of wear and tear, pitting, scratches and chips. If it is not close to being in the same condition as when you bought it, then perhaps the time is right to get an overhaul and get it sorted."

Back in New Year

Dave will be taking the shortest of Christmas breaks before he back to work to meet the demand for his services.
