The Sandhurst Band has welcomed a trio of new signings ahead of their appearance at the London & Southern Counties Regional Championships in Stevenage in March.

Andrew Ashworth takes over on soprano cornet having enjoyed a tenure at Woodfalls, whilst Liam Bowers comes in on back row cornet. Becky Musto joins the percussion team. Liam and Becky are members of the British Army Band based in Sandhurst.

Speaking about the appointments, MD Joshua Ruck told 4BR: "It's exciting to be able to welcome musicians of this calibre ahead of the Area contest next month.

Andy has brought a notable lift to the ensemble confidence and it's great to link up with both Liam and Becky again, almost ten years since we last all worked together. They have both become fine young musicians and it is great to have them on board."
