Wobplay to broadcast SIDDIS entertainment

Norwegian bands are putting the final touches to their preparations ahead of their entertainment challenges in Stavanger this weekend.

The Siddis Entertainment Championships takes place at Stavanger Konserthus on Saturday 1st November with 62 competing bands taking to the various stage.

The event, which will be broadcast live on the www.wobplay.com multi-media platform, started in 1983 with a single Elite Division competition, with the First (1985), Second (1993), Third (1995) and Fourth Divisions (2010) added over the years.

Programmes

Bands have to perform programmes that last up to 24 minutes in duration in the Elite and First Divisions, 21 minutes in the Second, 19 minutes in the Third, and 18 minutes in the Fourth. There is a buffer of up to 1 minute, but time penalties thereafter.

Broadcast

The event will be broadcast by World of Brass through its Wobplay.com multi-media platform and will be presented by 4BR Editor, Iwan Fox. The action starts at 9.00am (local time).
