Following a successful 2025/26 season, Swedish champion Göta Brass Band has confirmed its conductor line-up for the year ahead.

The band will continue to work with MD Ryan Watkins, who led them to their 2025 National title triumph as well as an impressive eighth place at the 2026 European Championships in Linz.

With the defence of their National title coinciding with him leading Hepworth's appearance at the Brass in Concert Championship in Gateshead in November, it was confirmed that Florent Didier will lead them in Varnamo.

Delighted

Ryan stated: "Following an excellent 2025-26 season, I'm delighted to continue my work with Göta. I look forward to contributing to their preparations and supporting them as they take on this year's Swedish Nationals under Florent."

Florent in turn added: "I'm absolutely thrilled to be leading Göta at the upcoming Swedish National Championships.

I'm really looking forward to meeting this fantastic team and getting started on an exciting, challenging and inspiring programme. I can't wait to begin the journey together!"
