Of the 19 bands that are taking part at the 172nd British Open next weekend, 10 have lifted the famous Gold Trophy in triumph at least once — although three of them under a different name and it does take some doing given its weight...
The trophy was first presented in 1924 so three of these bands have also held aloft the Belle Vue Champion Challenge Cup.
