The Purcell School is inviting young brass players to it next 'Purcell Brass Experience' day on Sunday 4th October, from 2.00-5.00pm.
The free event is aimed at young brass musicians in school years 5-12, playing at approximately Grade 3-8+. It's designed to give them the opportunity to develop their musicianship, build confidence and enjoy making music alongside other enthusiastic brass players.
Coaching and masterclasses
The afternoon will include ensemble coaching, masterclasses and performance workshops, led by Head of Brass, Mike Cavanagh, alongside specialist tutors from its brass faculty: Tony Cross, Timothy Ellis, Ruth Molins and Mike Poyser.
Players of cornet, trumpet, flugel, tenor horn, trombone, French horn, baritone, euphonium and tuba are very welcome.

As it is free to attend, places are limited and advance registration is required.
There is also an 'Open Morning at The Purcell School' earlier that day (10.00am-1.00pm).
If you have players or families who are interested in finding out more about specialist music education, they are welcome to visit the School in the morning before joining the Brass Experience in the afternoon.
