A special 80th anniversary concert of Hammonds Band is set to take place later this month, with a call going out for as many former players to join them for an evening of great memories and music making.
Massed band
The current band under the baton of Morgan Griffiths will be joined by guest soloists Sheona White and Ben Godfrey, whilst a special massed band will cram together at St Mary's Church Mirfield on Saturday 17th October to raise the roof.
A spokesperson told 4BR: "We are really looking forward to seeing as many old and new friends, former players and supporters as possible. There will be great memories to share and wonderful music to be heard."
