Rushen enjoy Bathgate treatment

Rushen Silver recently enjoyed a fine weekend with Melvyn Bathgate.

Rushen Silver Band recently opened the summer season of concerts at Peel Cathedral in the Isle of Man on 20th May.

Melvyn worked with the band over the weekend including individual lessons, a horn sectional, a master class and two full band practices, all in the space of 3 daysThomas Sinden

Their programme had six pieces featuring guest soloist Melvyn Bathgate including 'Afton Water', a piece specially composed for Melvyn.
