A night of brilliant solos, a great programme and a full house celebrating the red, white and blue, made Longridge Band’s recent 'Midsummer Proms' evening one to remember yet again.

Spokesperson Rebecca Stead told 4BR: "The band had a variety of pieces to suit all tastes and had the delights of their very own singer Katie Ellis singing the traditional songs.

Although this concert is out the way the band have been busy this week preparing for their recording session for a new CD this weekend under the direction of Darrol Barry."
