The Leyland Band has announced the departure of principal cornet Nick Walkley.

Heavy schedule

A spokesperson for the band told 4BR: "Nick Walkley and Leyland Band have parted company after nine months. Nick informed Leyland Band that he was unable to commit to the band due to a heavy university schedule and the pressures of study in his final year."
