Black Success

Brass Noir enjoy a dark night of musical success — and get a doubling of their fee for their troubles!

Brass Noir

Following a great deal of anticipation, Brass Noir's first official concert took place at St' Chad's Social Club in Wheelton on the 9th December.

Capacity

The band played to a capacity audience and despite being unable to rehearse the previous week, due to the inclement weather, the concert was well and truly a resounding success.

There were many positive comments from the Club and the ensemble has been invited back in the future. In fact the band were that well received that the club doubled the feeBB Noir

New work

The band played a variety of pieces including the first performance of 'Vive Le Brass Noir' a new commission by James Mcfadyen which was appreciated by the audience.

A spokesperson told 4BR: "There were many positive comments from the Club and the ensemble has been invited back in the future. In fact the band were that well received that the club doubled the fee!"
