New signings for Poulton

The Poulton le Fylde Band has been busy in the transfer market ahead of the Regionals.

Poulton-le-Fylde band has announced a number of new signings ahead of the North West Area Championships.

Welcome back

John Squires-Evans, Poulton's youth band conductor has re-signed following spells at Leyland, UES Stocksbridge, Brighouse & Rastrick and Wingates to help at the Areas.

Tutti

Meanwhile the band welcome Phillip Tait on tutti cornet. 15-year old Phillip has been a regular member of the National Youth Band of Great Britain. In addition, former principal cornet Mike Davis, re-joins on a temporary basis too to help during the contest season. Toby Campbell returns on Eb Bass.

Former Blackburn and Darwin trombonist Andrea Wilkinson has signed on solo trombone. Andrea has been a regular guest player with the band over recent years. Sitting next to Andrea and making the step up from Poulton Youth Section is Alistair Bamber.
