The Diggle Band Whit Friday Committee has informed 4BR that they are looking forward to welcoming a host of bands to their venue this year.

Their contest will start at 3.30pm on Friday 28th May where they will be looking to try and beat last year's entry figure of 51 competing bands.

Bigger and better

Dale Hitchen told 4BR: "This will be the second year the contest has taken place, and after last year's success, we are hopeful for bigger and even better things."
