The Haverhill Silver Band visited the Ehringhausen area of Germany recently following an invitation by the area’s Werdorf Choir to join them in their anniversary concert.

The band was conducted by Mark Ager for three concerts in two days, including the main 145th year anniversary event that included three local choirs.

The band, playing under sweltering conditions, delivered a rousing and mixed programme and received a standing ovation after the finale4BR

Haverhill musicians stayed with choir members in the village of Werdorf, who looked after them admirably for the duration of their visit.
