Youth event set for Innerleithen

St Ronan's Silver Band is to hold a youth brass contest later this month — and all are welcome!

Due to the cancellation of this year’s Brass in the Park contest, St. Ronan's Silver Band will be holding a youth brass band contest in Innerleithen on Saturday 22nd September.

Youth Championships

The contest to be held at St Primary School will be open to bands in three separate sections; Preparatory, Novice and Development and willl be organised to reflect the younger sections of the Scottish Youth Championships.

"We felt that some youth bands may want the opportunity to come together in a friendly contest before the bigger events underway," explained Band Secretary, Keith Belleville.
