The future of brass banding in the UK will come under discussion on BBC Radio 3 this weekend when the Music Matters programme looks at the current state of the banding movement.

Presenter Tom Service will speak to a number of players and banding personalities to find out if, what they call, a ‘British institution’ is facing demise following news of well publicised sponsorship problems.
