Strata Brass has announced that they have completed their line up of players ahead of the Yorkshire Regional Championship in Bradford at the beginning of March.

New players

Clare Daws comes in on repiano cornet with Kathryn Pannett joins by filling the second cornet berth after a four year break from playing.

Lisa Vickerage and Matthew Townsend (formerly Old Silkstone) come in to replace Geoff and Julie Thomas on the percussion section, who are emigrating from the UK, with Max Townsend to second cornet from soprano and Daniel Bell moving to soprano from repiano.

Finally, first horn Sophie Darwin swaps with her mum Joanne to take over the solo horn position.

These players have fitted in well and the band is now working hard towards the Yorkshire Area in MarchSecretary, Paul Wilkinson

Secretary Paul Wilkinson commented to 4BR: "These players have fitted in well and the band is now working hard towards the Yorkshire Area in March. The band is also, like Grimethorpe, looking for a new sponsor!"
