The Dalmellington Band has announced the appointment of Ralph Brill as Associate Conductor.
The vastly experienced musician comes to the Scottish Championship Section band and Senior Cup contenders backed by an outstanding career in military music as well as being a highly respected principal cornet player for many years with Redbridge Band.
He also enjoyed a tenure at GUS Band and was a founding member of the Frank Renton Brass Machine.
He is currently the Bandmaster of the Highland Army Reserve Band, Royal Regiment of Scotland and has also enjoyed tenures with the baton at Clacton Co‑operative Band and more recently, Dunaskin Doon Band.

A Dalmellington spokesperson told 4BR: "Ralph brings both military precision and artistic elegance to rehearsals, and we are excited and honoured to learn from him to grow under his leadership and training.
Ralph will work alongside our Musical Director Andy Duncan."
