Pendeen Silver Band had four players making their contesting debuts at the recent Truro Contest.

The band has been undergoing a rebuilding process of late and saw the contest as an ideal opportunity to test their progress against other local bands in the Fourth Section. .

First and last

Pendeen, who state they are 'the first and last band in England', due to their geographical position, were delighted to be awarded the highest placed Cornish band and also second place overall.
