Love in the air at Co-op

There was certainly a bit of love in the air at the Co-op recently as two members got married with the help of an appropriate best man.

Scottish Co-op

Congratulations are due to two members of Co-operative Funeralcare Band, Charlie Farren and Caroline Munro, who were married recently at a ceremony in Livingston.

Friends and relatives

Charlie, who is the band’s bass trombonist, and Caroline, who plays flugel horn, were married on Saturday, 15th August before a congregation of relatives and friends.

Love

Two other members of the band took part in the ceremony; percussionist Derek Love was best man, while trombonist Mark Haldane was an usher.

Following the service, a reception was held in Airth Castle in Stirlingshire where more guests and band members joined in the celebrations.

During the course of the evening, music was provided by a composite brass ensemble which included Richard Evans, Archie Hutchison, Willie Young and John Barber4BR
