2026 European Championship ticket sale date announced

Tickets for the 47th European Brass Band Championships in Linz will go on sale on Tuesday 20th January.

Tickets for the 2026 European Brass Band Championships in Austria will go on sale on Tuesday 20th January at 11.00am (CET).

The 47th festival event will be hosted at the Brucknerhaus, Linz between the 22nd — 26th April. It will see EBBA and local organiser, Amt der Oö. Landesregierung, Direktion Kultur und Gesellschaft, Abteilung Kultur showcase competitive performances from bands and soloists.

In announcing the ticket sale date, EBBA stated that it was their belief that it was "sure to be an excellent event", building on the success achieved when Linz last hosted the event in 2010.

As a result, EBBA added that, "tickets are likely to sell out quickly", and that they recommend that people should get their tickets "as soon as they are released".

The ticket sale will also be made accessible from https://ebbc2026.at/ as well as https://ebba.eu.com/ ahead of the release.

4BR was informed that it will be possible to buy combi ticket for the contests, tickets for the gala concert and single tickets for the European Youth Brass Band Championship contest.

Price: EUR 148,50.

The free seating combi-tickets give access to the following events:
Final of the European Soloist Competition (Thursday 23rd April)
Championship Section, set-test piece (Friday 24th April)
Challenge Section and Championship Section, own choice (Saturday 25th April)
European Youth Brass Band Championship (Sunday 26th April)

Gala Concert:
The gala concert will have fixed seating.

Category 1: EUR 52,25
Category 2: EUR 37,05
Category 3: EUR 27,55

European Youth Brass Band Contest:
Free seating: EUR 20
