Unison Kinneil Band has announced that Allan Ramsay has accepted their invitation to take the band on ‘English Heritage’ at the Scottish Area Championships next March.
Success
Following a highly successful period just a few years ago, Allan returned to Kinneil last month and led them to their best finish ever in the Scottish Open.
Allan knows the test piece well as he was the principal cornet of Scottish Co-op at the time of their historic win on the piece at the National Finals in 1990.

A band spokesperson told 4BR: "We have worked with many Musical Directors over the years but Allan gives something extra. His attention to detail and his ability to pick up quickly on peoples strengths and weaknesses is second to none. Hopefully we can emulate Allan’s previous spell in charge."
