Philip Jones celebration in London

Leading student brass ensembles will celebrate the life and legacy of the iconic trumpet player Philip Jones.

Ensembles for the UKs colleges and conservatoires will perform at the event.

A celebration concert of brass chamber music in memory of the iconic trumpet player Philip Jones is to be held in London in February.

Student ensembles

The event will be held on Saturday 21st February (6.00pm) at Kings Place, 90 York Way (N1 9AG) and will be showcase of the finest student brass ensembles from the major UK music colleges and conservatoires.

Ensembles from the Royal Academy of Music, Royal College of Music, Royal Northern College of Music, Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama, Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, Trinity Laban Conservatoire and Guildhall School of Music & Drama.

It is to be presented in association with The Musicians Company.
